IG Saves Sorter reads the Instagram folders you save into and turns them into lists you'll actually use: recipe cards, AI tools to test, a swipe file and content ideas in your own voice.
What it does
- Reads your saved foldersEvery post in the folders you pick, with the caption, the numbers and what's said in each reel.
- Sorts by what the folder is forRecipes become recipe cards. AI finds become a to-test list. Style saves become a swipe file. Inspiration becomes content ideas.
- Puts it where you workNotion, a Google Doc or a Google Sheet, with one table or section per folder.
- Asks before it spendsReels get transcribed through Apify. It tells you the cost first and waits for your yes.
Before you start
- A free Apify accountIt comes with $5 of credit every month. My run of 30 posts cost about 15 cents.
- Notion or Google DriveConnected in Claude, wherever you want your lists to live.
- Claude in Chrome, if you have itIt reads your saved folders from the browser you're logged in to. No extension? Paste the post links instead.
- The first run sets it upIt checks your connections and gives you the steps for anything missing.
How to add it
First: download the skill file above. Leave it exactly as it is.
Add it
On the Claude website or desktop app
- Click Customize in the left sidebar.
- Make sure Skills is selected at the top. Click + Add, then Upload skill.
- Drag the file into the box and click Upload.

- The first time, it asks for your handle, which folders, what each one is for and where the lists should go.

What's a skill?
A file of instructions you add to Claude once. After that, Claude follows them whenever the task fits, without you pasting a long prompt every time.
Does it cost anything?
The skill is free. Apify charges a little to read posts and transcribe reels, and the free $5 a month covers a lot of saves.
Is it safe for my account?
It only reads your saved folders. It never logs in for you, and it never likes, comments, follows or unsaves anything.
Can I post what it finds?
Captions and reels belong to the people who made them, so they stay in your private lists. The content ideas borrow the idea, never the wording.
Can I add a folder later?
Yes. Type "Add my Recipes folder to IG Saves Sorter" and tell it what the folder is for. It remembers the rest.
